I am an Iranian-born artist based in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, and a third-year MFA candidate in Painting at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where I have been awarded the Distinguished Artist Fellowship for all three years of my study. My work merges painting and installation to explore psychological narratives through anthropomorphized and fantastical forms. I draw from personal experience, myth, and emotional states to shape the worlds within my practice.
